The 2nd generation Tacoma is one of the best offroad vehicles on the market. But even the best vehicle gets stuck at some point. Whether in the mud, snow or sand, you’ll find there is no good place to attach a recovery strap. No more crawling underneath your truck in the mud to anchor to the stock tow point.

The Mobtown Front Recovery Bar solves this issue by adding two solid anchors for shackles. Two 3/4″ thick plates hang 7/8″ shackles from the grille for a solid pulling point to get unstuck fast. Center 2″ receiver adds more versatility to the front of your truck. The receiver works with many aftermarket hitch accessories including D-Rings, baskets, fishing rod holders, and winch cradles. This is the most versatile hidden hitch you can get.

This unit is designed for easy installation and minimal trimming of the front bumper to keep the stock look.

This recovery bar was ridiculously easy to install, and is beefy as all hell. One of the best mods I’ve done. A MUST for a PreRunner!!!

I installed this very well built recovery bar with the receiver on my 2015 Tacoma. The hardest part of installing it was taking the qrill and front bumper off of my truck. You don’t need any special tools to install it and you can do it by yourself if you have to, but I would recommend having a buddy help you. From start to finish it took me about 4 hours to install it by myself. If you are thinking about buying one for you truck you will not be disappointed buying this one, I highly recommended it. I will buy more accessories as soon as my funds build back up.

Hardest part was reasembling my front bumper as I broke some plastic pieces taking it off. I used zip ties as an easy fix. 😎

The recovery bar is very solid and stout. Took me about one hour to install by myself.

Had this Recovery Bar about a year. Install was easy once i fixed a slight offset in the bolt pattern. (note i had one of the bars that got out of the factory with slight hole spacing problem, they were great in helping me work around the issue rather than sending the whole thing back) It has held up well to the colorado weather. the option to remove the winch and store in the bed really helps. the shackle mounts are very robust and work well for double line pulls or the quick tug with a strap. What is missing is some tabs for off road lights. I may need to pull off the bumper skin and break out the welder soon.

Finally got to put the recovery bar to good use to be recovered last weekend. A solid piece of equipment.
    Thanks Joes.
